I put that site on my favorites list myself. Looks to be loaded with info. When I get a chance, I want to see what they say about setting up ladder bars.

I understand about opposing angles and phasing U joints very well as this was quite critical in dirt racing with a quick change rear, as driveshaft rpm could get pretty high when you're gearing to turn 6500+ rpm and it's all done at the rear end with ratios there that could get into the high 7s and low 8s on flat quarter mile tracks.
But the pinion angle actually has a bearing on how much force is applied to "plant" the rear tires, and the location vertically as well as fore and aft of the front pivot on ladder bars has an effect also.
Unfortunately, what what works on the strip ain't always what you need on the street. And BGII will always remain primarily a street driven hot rod.

The medicine has stopped the spread of the rash already and no open sores have developed, so it's working, hopefully I'll see an improvement in a few days. Right now all I wanta do is sleep.
Bobby, glad you got front end right, you might wanta look into the shot, expensive, but I wish I had spent the money. This ain't fun!!!!!!

Here ya go Dave while you have a little down time. Watch one of the best hot rod movies in the world. Pop some corn, grab an adult beverage, click this icon [IMG] in the lower right hand corner of the video to go to full screen, push play, turn the sound up and knock the knob off K:cool::cool:L

Scot, I watched that movie last night, overall, it's worth it if you have the time.
Like most movies and TV shows about hot rods, it ggets a little hokey at times, but it is entertaining.
Had a bad night last night, and I have called the Dr's office to get a pain pill prescription. All the rash from the shingles is around my waisr and on my left hip, not too bad in daytime if I wear bib overalls to avoid a belt, but when I lie down in bed, I'm laying on it and it's getting damn tender.
