  2. You're probably going to here questions like this more and more. It was easily 10 and more years before I saw what original Topolinos, Henry J's, 41 Willys pickups, 33 Willys and Bantam roadsters all looked like after first seeing them used as G***ers in the 60's.

    Floors? Details, details.

Last year R&C magazine had an article -building a floor for a 5 window using Brookville sub rails. But they channelled it the depth of the frame rails. I'll look it up. It might help somewhat to see how they did it. danzee

Yeah!! I really thought it would help to see what they looked like to help build something. I learned a lot in one day from this - that is for sure. That is why the HAMB rocks. I'd love to have a perfectly restored floor - but I don't need that. I can build a good floor with some stock aspects to hold my molested body with no floor up closer to high boy height. I'll end up with a slightly channeled look with a welded in firewall stock type firewall - recessed like I need. My main goal is to install some good support.

This weekend will unfold a lot - I hope I can pick up some steel today. Ryan has this posted on the Journal this morning - if that won't motivate ya - I don't know what will.

The R&C article on channelling a 32 5 window was in the January 2005 issue. Check it out. They used Brookville sub rails. danzee;)
