Hello Ralph here, I was wondering if anyone out there has installed a Fat man front clip on a 55
Ford. I have had to cut the tunnel to make the overdrive auto fit. I was wondering if anyone else has done this so I know what other problems I will encounter.
    Thanks in advance Carguy 01

I did a Fat Man to a 1952 Sedan Delivery. 52-56 are the same when doing this. My only issue was the length of the engine, a 392 CI Windsor. I used a Ford AOD, tunnel was fine. Made a Radiator support and used a 54 6 cylinder upper wind deflector Cheers, Don.

Considering the fact that '55 fords have a fairly robust IFS to begin with, why would you want to go MII? They do handle better and easier to bag, but if you're just gonna be putting around the stock IFS should be more than sufficient?
