Back a while ago there was a fellow reproducing the Guide 682 Id tags. I can not seem to find the post anymore. Does anyone know who that was? Thanks, Bill
Yes it was me. I gave Guide tags, B-L-C tags and King Bee tags. All tags come in brass or aluminum except King Bee tags which are only in Aluminum only. All tags are $20.00 plus $1.00 shipping here in the states. PM me if I can help. I need to make another add. Some how it got lost in the HAMB shuffle.
BLC guide tags are available right here on the HAMB store. http://jalopyjournal.myshopify.com/collections/hard-parts/products/b-l-c-headlamp-tags I would be interested to see pictures of yours to compare and pictures of where they are mounted on a stock guide 682-c.
193257's tags are a work of art. Identical to the originals, etched in brass, not just silk screened, with rivets for attaching. Great guy to deal with as well. Highly recommended. Canuck
Unless you are doing a restoration, you can take some small brass or stainless appropriate sized machine screws and turn off the slot so it looks like a rivet. Loctite the nut on. If you need to take off, just grind off from the back, and start over.
I have a pair of his King Bee tags, they are very nice, and they came with hollow rivets. If I needed more of these, I wouldn't hesitate to order from him again.
Yeah, the ones in the TJJ store are silk screened... They look great... but acid etched brass would be absolutely RAD.
