Building a Model A 1929 Coupe I don't want to place the gas tank in the cowl as it was originally. Where is a good place to install one and what would fit nicely without to much fabrication? Gene

Does it have fenders? I've seen "saddlebag" gas tanks for them that fit between splash shields and frame but I can't remember how much they hold

Agree with s**** metal 48. Unfortunately do not have a picture with the carpet off, cap is sealed and tank has an external vent. IMG_0512.JPG

Safest place in behind the back seat. If I remember correctly this one came from Tanks Inc. Weld in a firewall behind the seat and vent the tank to outside the trunk. An external filler is a good idea too.
