This is the start of the job. This body is really in great shape, but still needs all the usual rot fixed. All the bottom of the car has been replaced. The rear under the trunk is new. My customer had already done the new floor pan, all I had to do was finish welding it in.

Here the doors are in place, and the chop is mocked up to find out where we want it. The A pillars are leaned back and we went with 3" in the back and 4" in the front.

Getting the front fit so I could pull the roof back off and finish all the bodywork and metal finish it while on my table instead of the car!

Working on the trunk area, had to build a cover for the rear crossmember. Customer bought a louvered rear skin from SAR to install, and wanted an aluminum inside cover made that was held on with Dzus fasteners to keep the elements out!

A few more! This job had to get put on hold for a month while I do the Rod and Custom coupe, but I will catch back up after I'm done with the 32.

These pics just don't do it , The metal work on this car is so top notch, simply amazing, as much as dislike the bare metal trended cars if I owned this one I believe I would roll around in bare metal for awhile

Do you have any more pictures of the aluminum inside cover for the deck lid? Looks like a great idea. Great work!
