    Hi folks
Here's my new '39 Tudor project.
Browsed over on the Kijiji classifieds last week and found this awesome V8 listed just north of Toronto. The price was to good to just leave it alone so I hooked the trailer and buzzed 4 hours across the 401 to see if it was true.
Sure enough, there was an awesome original '39 burried away in buddy's garage.

I am now the third owner of a running/driving '39 with a correct new interior and one crappy repaint that must date back to the '60s-70's period. It will not change, at all.
The stock 24stud is strong at 110-120lbs of pressure in all cyls.
Everything performs great other than the brakes/tires, a easy fix.
But after watching Cory Taulbert's '40 build I just can't leave this thing alone.

The plan is to bring the front down to a reasonable drop. The back already sits slightly low due to a worn spring so I may leave it alone. Im not very familiar with the ways of lowering a 37-41 so I'm open to all ideas and opinions on what I should do.
After all, that is what the HAMB is for right?

Great find! All a 39 DeLuxe needs is some lowering.

I am building my 1939 Deluxe coupe, I used a 4" dropped Lucky seven axle in front, a reversed eyes spring. I got it too low I think, about 5" to the bottom of the grill.

    Quick update,
After a busy summer the '39 is back on the ground.
Went with a 4" dropped SB with a reverse eye Posies setup in the front and back.
Finished off with a good old Firestone 5.50/6.50 combo.
I was hoping it would be slightly lower in the back but owell, Il just make my heavy buddy's ride back there.

  11. Just north of Toronto? How far north? Those are nice looking cars. Hydraulic brakes, drive the wheels off of it, just not on the 401.

Thanks man! Yeah I've got lots on the go right now. Wanted the shop to have the right feel, from the era they were built and driven back in the day. Its progressing slowly but should be good for the winter.
