Vacuum Advance on Flathead?

I got one of Bubba's chevy conversions with the vacuum advance also in my 52 with an 8ba. Yes I hooked it up to manifold vacuum (tee'd off of the wiper motor connection and plugged the original port on the carb) and it runs GREAT! Pulls way better through the RPM band, once warmed up it starts virtually instantly, as has been said easily the best upgrade I have done to my flatty.
