NICE! Looks like there is lots of material so wet sanding isn't any worry. Bob

Let's get back to the short nap rollers the badger hair brush and the un-do***enteds. Oh and the '57 vw sunroof deluxe beetle with a Judson supercharger. Was that their ground transportation?

Love the car, love the color. Well done.

It wouldn't look nearly as good if it wasn't for Dave's time before me. A straight body with bad paint will always look better then a bad body with perfect paint. thanks for the " change of medium " Dave. :)

Scott, From one painter to another your right about the prep before paint. Great work by Dave on the blocking and body work . However the finish is still in the hands of the painter and I must say your work is top notch.

PPG Shop-Line single stage urethane. It looks good because of the guy behind the gun.

Yes, but we've watched you block this baby for years, so it was a great team effort. Bob

Thanks OJ. Are you still willing to dial in the carbs? I hope to shoot the frame in the next week and then I'm on to final ***embly. I plan to install the suspension and drive train and then get it running before I put the body on. I still need to build the exhaust system too. So hopefully sometime in December I'll be ready for you.

A foot? Hell you can almost read the plate on that orange and white box truck. You can see all 8 doors in the building on the left.

Hot damn that turned out nice! Dave, were you just bustin' our balls a few pages back sounding like you were giving up? You must have been because this kind of finish doesn't come without serious work! I'm betting you were sanding your fingerprints off for months and just teasing us!

Great work by all involved though!

Looking great Dave! Can't wait to see it in person.

Looking forward to it, that car deserves nothing less than our very best effort. Give me a shout when you're ready.
