WW2 themed interiors

I've been doing a few searches online for pictures, but I'm not coming up with much. TJ Lavin's "Forgiven" is a good example of what I'm looking for, but with original WW2 items. Any of y'all have any pictures of such?

 

Check Hot Rod Ch***is & Cycle. They built a 31' Model A coupe several years back called "Back seat Betty" that was WW2 inspired. They have a website with pictures and are on the HAMB.

Restraint is the key here. back in the day ( what is now called "traditional") WW2 surplus aircraft seat belts, seats, hydraulic fittings, etc. were cheap, strong and light. All hot rod attributes. I am of the opinion that sticking a bunch of canteens, ammo boxes and grenades and painting everything OD green in a wanna be RR is just f'n tacky.

 

I plan on keeping it simple, but I would like a few touches here and there. Just wanted ideas as far as the doors, etc. I plan on just line-xing the floor in black since I don't want carpet, getting some white seats for the driver/p***enger with red or black seatbelts.

 

Isn't a WWII theme in a '50 Ford a little mixed up?

 

I won't be doing a full blown theme

 

Maybe a Korean War theme?

It's not at all actually, but then again, I've never had to sit in the back

 

Okay. How about this idea. Maybe, some form fitting cushions that can be removed at a show, etc.?
