Hey is this HIGH TEC or what????????????? HURST is finally in the 21st century, this is still in ruff ruff draft for another 30 days, I am ready for my *** beating to begin so tell me what needs change'n Thank You Sir May I Have Another www.hurstracingtires.com
Honest? Its plain. I think you need to incorporate the "Traction" by Hurst logo more front and center on the home page instead of just the little logo in the upper left. The page looks more like a phonebook listing than a webpage. From a business standpoint, do you want the disclaimer about FVMSS 109 on top on the front page? I can see wanting to alert potential customers about it, but will it hurt sales??? It is good to see a website for you. Its a good start and better than anything I could ever whip up.
1. The main page comes up 'TO BIG' ...you cannot view it with out having to scroll.2. The white writing on the tire photos is not legable. 3. I suggest a photo with tires facing me with all of the tread patterns, labeled as which is what, so I can be educated in what I want. 4. Are you going to offer the Hurst Logo'd T-shirts? 5. I would want to see your EMAIL address under your phone number on the top of the main page, so I can find it quick and easy....since we are in the internet world. 6. I'd like to see a color tire durometer chart.
A ****on for each type of tire down all that left hand console would be good, then when you open it it has several very good pics of that tire , and if it came in 15 & 16, a pic of each one for size comparison.
How's this look? I was in a hurry but... http://www.hotroddersauctions.com/hurst.html How about the hotroddersauctions link I added If you would like I will make a real attempt at making it fit better....
I grant you that Oregon City isn't very big and I've only lived here for 26 years, but I haven't a clue where your store is. Maybe your address on at least the contact page if not the home page as well. I sure that a lot of folks would find the zip code handy to figure approx. shipping costs to their location. Which brings up the second request, how about including approx. shipping weight in the tire description. Other than these trivial issues and the ones already mentioned, you're off to a great start! Just a side note on the screen size and having to scroll around on the page, my friends in the computer industry tell me that the most common moniter ressolution is 1024X768. Other than Unix freeks, geeks and gamers, most of the people buying big moniters are older blind farts like me, that need the BIG PRINT addition.
The one problem I have is that the prices say "$275.00 pr slick" and I don't know if the "pr" is per slick or stands for pair. If the word "slick" was taken off I'd ***ume that meant pair, but I'd spell it out. Otherwise looks like a good start.
