Hot Rods Museum in AZ on I40

We are making our annual trek across the US to see the kids in San Jose and pulled off at the Russell Travel Center on I40 for breakfast. Lured in by the add for the free auto museum tour. They have a great collection of cars there as well as memorabilia worth seeing if you folks are going thru. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the detail of the items in there. Couple pics attached. (And the biscuits and sausage gravy was worth the stop also)

It is amazing just how many small automobile museums that are ****tered out around the country. HRP

 

Been there several times. Great collection. Talked to a "guy" working on displays. Said was just helper. He sure new about every exhibit there! Good conversation.

Yes there was an older fella there helping folks with there questions. He sure had his facts straight. Said they had a couple new cars coming in this month. That 59 vette with the 300 hp engine was real sweet.

 

Yes, it's sure worth the stop. The food isn't bad either.
