I was checking out www.carnut.com and noticed this Chopped 1949 Ford. The picture was taken at last years James Dean Run, I was wondering what was the story behind this custom? What is that back glass from? Happy Trails, Mick
god that is tacky i would never say bad thigs about other peoples work but damn that is horrifying ... the glass looks to be 80's camaro with some bar painted in the middle
Hey thats my car ! I wouldn't talk shit about any of you or your cars. I'll just tell you peyote was involved in making this beutiful custom come to life.
Hey Jamie, Yes, thats it. I thought that I recognized your style. Sorry about the post. Happy Trails, Mick
Ick! I'm guessing it could possibly, maybe be the back window of a 'cuda....sorta, maybe-ish. (how's that for non-commital?) I've got the same feeling right now as I do when I'm subjected to a Mentos commercial....that "What the fuck is.....? Is that a......? Am I the only one who's.....?"
oh man that rules.... I don't know what's worse.. the glass, third brake light, spoiler thing, 4dr sedan, painted '50 rear bumper, the power antennas, the dog jerkin it on the conti kit, badass taillights, TEXAS-style echo tips, cut radial white walls, or the awesome mirrors. oh yea, I esp like how the trunk is shaved but the handles are still there.
This actually should be under the topic when chops go bad. It appears this once a 4 door judging by side window. Where was this show at?
Shit..NOW I see the Camaro in it....... My excuse is I'm in work, keeping an eye out for the boss man while I search the inter-webs. Wait...I don't need an excuse....I don't really care that much!
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! I think he actually converted to an actual hatchback. I was trying to figure out how the tail lights work with the trunk and I noticed everything is welded shut but I looks like the hatchback pops up at the spoiler there.
the windows look like they're the front windshield from an old milk truck or something along those lines.
Mickey, that looks like it could be the sister of Daniels' Ford!!! It probably belongs to some old dude who thought he had a good idea... Unfortunately, not. One would have to agree though, it takes just as much hard work to make an ugly custom as it does to make a kool one. Reverend Jake
I really hope it has a big TRANS-AM screaming chicken on the hood., with a 6.6 shaker scoop. That would totally rule the earth.
I know I shouldn't even ask, but I wonder what kind of freak work was done to the front? Oh shit here comes the can of worms! Take cover!
I was wondering the same thing about the front end. I would like to see more pictures.......You know the say curiosity killed the kat. Hey Rev, That is so funny because, we were just talking about the same thing. Happy Trails, Mick
