This post is for those of you that might have missed the other thread about us getting together on Saturday the 21st of January at the 75th Street Brewery Restaurant in Kansas City at 3pm. If you want to meet other people in the area from H.A.M.B. and maybe talk about building a HA/GR for this summer at MO-KAN then meet us there. Below is a link to the other thread.

hope to see you all there.....

  2. Guess I'll be there. I don't have a cool old hot rod though, just a rough old pickup.;)

Someone will have to remind me, maybe the raven will send me a PM the week before.

    75th street and what?

Sorry, I won't go now - anything that uses the term "HAMBsters" is off limits for me. :)

  10. Well alright. But not like the caravan to joplin. I can only handle a bazillion MPH for 440 yds.:D

    I plan on being there.

Message to Kryptic Phinishes: If you are the only one in the parking lot, Call my cell phone, because that will mean everyone else is inside. Ha Ha!

Dayum, it looks like the plant is running production on the 21st and it's my turn to go and be the lone I.S. geek on-site, which means I hang out and do a whole lotta nothin'. I'll try to beat feet outta there early and still make the 3:00 show, but I can't guarantee it.

To far north to attend, but after you guy's figure out what parts will be needed, post a list, or pm me and I'll dig into my shed to see what I got to contribute. CAL

  24. Neosho ait that far, cruise up and we'll put you up for the weekend. That is if you can deal with the dawg, and the ratty old house.

OH we need an inline GM 292.;) Or at the very least a merc cruiser head for a 250.

A dawg, and a ratty old house? Sounds like my place. Thanks for the offer, would like to try to make it up for at least part of the build sometime. Inline? No parts, Flathead Ford? Got a set of Edelbrock heads that might work for a drag motor, pre "49. maybe a 2x2 intake, one extra "97, etc.

I have the 235 truck motor, bell, trans rear, etc, set of t front axles. with some 3x2 tube we could really have something.

  27. There's been no real discussion on a drive train. I just threw that out there. When you come up we got a room for ya here in the bad neighborhood.

Thought I'd bump this to the top in case anybody forgot about it or didn't see it the first time around.

To make this content car related - saw a younger guy tooling south on ward rd this AM in what looked like a really nice old caddy (early 50's - couldn't guess the model years of caddy's if I wanted too... Unless of course it's the 80's boxes.. )
