Hey Guys, I stumbled upon a project and need your knowledge and expertise to guide me. I recently purchased this 1958 Grumman. ***le says its on a Ford P50 ch***is? Straight 6 cylinder with a 3 speed transmission, dual rear axel. The exterior plan is to strip the paint and polish the aluminum This is it in its current stage of stripping. With the intention of it looking like my Airstream. I think I have the exterior nailed down, now comes the unfamiliar territory. I would like to put a late model ch***is and drivetrain under the polished body. Maybe a 2500 HD or F-350 or whatever you guys recommend, I'm not married to any ch***is yet. Would love to put a diesel 4wd under her. The donor will be a running and driving salvage ***le, insurance auction truck with custom fabricated body mounts. Any ideas, recommendations, pitfalls?? Like I said, I'm new to Grummans and appreciate any help you guys can give me. Terry
