I used to visit that site quite a bit UNTIL the creator of the site sold his original steel bodied 5W so he could buy a fibergl*** body.

I thought I visiting a site ran by like minded individuals.

So you spend countless hours researching and collecting parts that were on the "original" AG coupe.....you have the most important piece of the puzzle....then you get rid of it to buy something everybody else in the world can buy???

Sorry, I dont get it :(

The last I heard they are not doing it. They needed a specific number preordered and they didn't hit that number.

As DrJ touched on, paint colors don't always look right on film, especially yellows and greens. The cl***ic case-in-point is the 69 Charger from "Dirty Larry, Crazy Mary"...everyone thought it was YELLOW, when it was actually that funky Mopar Lime-Light Green! It just LOOKED yellow on film.

(I didn't believe it until my buddy and I went out and took pictures of his very obviously Lime-Light Green 70 Super Bee, then had the film developed. Lo and behold, you'd SWEAR the car was bright yellow looking at the pictures!)

    Maybe Milner was sportin' a Lime-Light Deuce??:D

(I know it wasn't...just bein' funny!)

I think someone said once that it was Golden-rod or some flower color along those lines.

The funny thing about this is that in the dialogue of the movie, the Charger is some times referred to as "a yellow Charger" and other times referred to as "a green Charger". I guess it must have been hard to tell what color the car was in person as well.

My one Mopar buddy is all over that movie...he's the one who told me about the color not photographing right (he's also the one with the 70 Super Bee). That movie was FULL of bad dialouge, some of which was edited out for the DVD version. (My buddy has it on BETA!!!).

I was told that after reviewing some footage, and seeing that the car photographed YELLOW, they refered to it as yellow, so as not to confuse the audience any further!

(But the original version was so bad, that one guy said the Charger had a CLEVELAND in it! A line cut from the DVD version!!!)

You mean "Sub-lime" (that's what the color is called). Chrysler had such cool names for their wild colors back then. The name alone is *almost* reason to paint something that color. But my favorite was "Plum Crazy Purple".
