Looks pretty stylish to me. I love a pre war ford custom with the running boards removed in favour of a nice stainless panel.

Thought for a minute that it was the foreword to one of those pulp romance novels from the 1940's.:)

You must have penned that around 2:30 last night after a few rounds with The Glenlivet, woke up this morning and thought "the send ****on, DAMMIT!" ..................that's some heavy wax, man. Heavy.

That is the story. The character is too shallow to have much else... Sort of the point! :)

Six months after Jacks conquest in the desert with the Reverend Brights daughter Kathy It was apparent that his success in money matters & love had caught up with him....she was with child.

Jacks ruse and his silver tongue was inevitably his downfall,Lies!

He couldn't take her to his place, all he had to his name was the pink slip for the old heap and 6 bucks,he was staying at the Haven of Rest and had seen better times but he still managed to score with the local girls.

He left the dirty little town on a Greyhound never to be heard from again.HRP

...it's just the way he was, the depression was hard on his folks, he was taught apathy and to fight in the alleys of the slum he grew up in. move on....next town....next girl....

Sounds like Jack was the dude who became the lead character in the new soap "The Edge of Wetness"....the revenue stream revived his flagging interest in being " a styling sport "......always had a cool car, though.....

Jack indeed has talent if he can find the back seat in that fode. But he probably had the trunk set up with a mattress. Plenty of room in there.

And then little HRP came along a mere 3 months later and took off in his old mans Ford..................all he needed was a bottle, a fresh diaper, and the change left in the ashtray for gas...............:p
