Hello all. I recently bought a nice 65 Rivi. But there is one problem with it , it needs a power brake booster. I have been unable to purchase one from ANY local autoparts store. I have found one on line from a couple different places. But thought I would check here to see if anyone has bought from these places. One is www.car-stuff.com and the other is www.autopartswarehouse.com .
Or does anyone know another place they can recomend. Every store here says oh yeah I can order it. But when they try it isnt available. All help appreciated.

I bought one for my 63 about 4 years ago at a local parts shop. It was for a 67 Riv. Bolted right in. I just happen to get a guy that was willing to dig through a couple of books for me. The first dude that helped me was clueless.

I'll dig around and see I still have the part number.

  3. If you get stuck, I have one from a 63 and a 64.

your other option is to have it rebuilt but that takes a couple weeks. Mine went on my 65 so I did a new MC and booster from Master power brakes (online), new lines and a disc conversion up front.
Riviera owners****ociation.com is a good source for info too.
