My regulator was having problems (not cranking window evenly) and find the front-side roller has somehow come out of the regulator arm. Looks like they're press-fit into the arm and also held by spring tension but i am having problems getting this one in. Is it indeed press-fit? Any tricks?

Couple pictures included in case I am not explaining correctly: one of the front arm less the roller, one of the rear arm with roller intact, and one of the roller/spring ***embly.

    Thanks for the help.

    Olscrounger -
Thanks for the confirmation. While still on the car w/the window gl*** in, would you take a channel locks and keep tightening a little at a time and then clamping on each side of the arm and roller channel till it comes through?

undo the gl***-slide it up and wedge something to hold it-take reg out and fix roller and stud-either drive back in and peen backside or spot weld it after in position

Anyone have some help they can p*** along? Trying to install new window regs in the car. Can it be done as the pic shows? as 1 piece together? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Ernie

Do a search here, there’s a few threads on the procedure.

Put regulator in the bottom of the door. Install win the door. Get the gl*** in just far enough to slip the the lower onto the regulator. Then hold all that and turn the window winder to raise the gl*** and relocate the regulator. Start putting the regulator screws in.
