Finally, I get to post a car that's been a dream of mine. My dream has finally become a reality, and I can't wait to add my own touches to this beauty!

302 CI Ford engine (1982 Crate engine). Holly 4 bbl. Carburetor. Custom wiring harness (replaced factory wiring) from Painless Wiring. MSD ignition with MSD control unit. Serpentine belt. Heavy duty custom aluminum radiator.

C4 3 speed Ford transmission, column shift.

Wheels and tires are 15 inch. Tire size: 235/75 wide whitewall tires. Suspension is all stock 1950 Ford, all components have been rebuilt. Factory rear leaf springs. Stock original brakes rebuilt (will be replaced with disc brakes)

Exhaust system is custom Lake Pipes with 2" diameter turbo mufflers.

Chop is about 8 inches. Fabricated hood to resemble a Ford Mercury.

    Looks super cool!
Is it hardtopped? If so I'd love to see some detail shots.

That is a nice shoebox . One question, you said it has a C4, what's with the 3 master cylinder reservoirs.

I know the feeling. Took me over three years to complete mine.

The previous owner put it in there as an option in case he ever wanted to go standard.

It has a '51 Ford hood and hood latch bar.
    Possibly '51 fenders too?

He said the hood was fabricated to look like a Mercury hood. Hasn't said anything about the fenders.

  14. Not to derail the OP's thread, but is there a difference between '50 and '51 Fenders?
