History Can anyone tell me when Missouri first issued vehicle titles?

I know some states did it decades earlier than others, but when did Missouri?

I don't know about ***les, but I know that they issued license plates in 1917, I've got one if your interested ...if nothing else this will give you a bump.

 

I did a lot of googling trying to figure it out, but had no luck. I thought surely someone here would know, but apparently it's difficult info to nail down. Perhaps I should ask, What's the earliest Missouri ***le folks have seen issued?
