OK sunday at the Jalopy Showdown is heads up racing.......what are the grudge matches gonna be. This should be fun!

Zach....I won't have the nailhead to run but I'll race you with that little 4 cylinder in the modified :D Should be a good race.

I know Fatabone and Sumo will be matched up.

46mopar and glasshole ....both 40's Mopars, one all mopar, one with a sbc

    Who else??

You'll have to check with Larry but as long as it's not a death trap I think you'll be OK. Does it have a tradional look to it? A Corvette gasser would be kick ass!

Clark sound like a good match but I heard those DBs can be tough.Do you think the mud will affect our ETs?

Louie...I guess I'm gonna have to wash them Sunday morning. :(

You can't have a muddy car racing down the track. Just won't look right.

Just think how cool these pics will be. Heads up racing with a flagman (Tommy jumping 3 feet off the ground :D )

Haha..well my little shit box isn't all that fast..305 with over 100K miles..but it's still fun..
Us DB's can be sneaky... i've been known to switch plug wires on my compitition to even thing's up :D:D:D:D
Plus i don't have room for slicks..and not enough power to turn them!!

might wanna wash the mud off...it'll be real heavy and slow us down!LOL

I'M NOT SKEERED but i better get some good gas cause im too busy to put the other motor in.

clark as for the 4 banger modified ....i think i can take it!

sixcarb....no need to sacrafice ANOTHER 39 tranny..those things are getting hard to find!

if all works out theres gona be 2 more roadsters coming from my neck of the woods. ones mine and one is Jer's so i'm sure there'll be some grudge racing there as we're already racing to get the cars done in time

Ya, how we gonna wash the mud off the car on Sat night. Have to have a clean ride for the race track.. dont look right to have a muddy car (just out of the back hills) on the starting line..

Maybe I can tow my sedan up with my wagon, use the wagon in the mud and the sedan at the strip..

Slag, the only hook is the car has to get on the infield the day before at Latimore. Traditional rods and customs. We dont want everyone just showing up with cars on Sunday and not make it in on Saturday. BUT there are more than enough stupid four door shitboxes that pass as "traditional" cars so email me.
