Technical Welding 29 sedan together??

    I have my 29 ford sedan and it is rusted pretty bad where the top bolts to the bottom some spots rusted thru am I better off cutting out the seam it bolts together and welding top and bottom with a one peice patch or should I patch top and patch bottom and bolt together again ?

  3. hard to tell for sure by those pictures , but from what i can see it's rusted very bad. if i was doing it i'd split the seam and get all the rust out....then ***ess what needs to be done

    but that's just me

    First step is to remove all the rust.

    I know remove the rust .... I have a bead roller and a break just wondering if I should make the top and bottom one peice or remake it in two peices
