    there was one of those Whippets at the Turlock Swap Meet a few months back. all original "barn find" complete but missing one door. original paint and everything. only $1,300.00! would have made a great Hot Rod for someone

    Might be the same car,probably weren't a lot of them in Oregon.
     
  14. The one I took photos of had the sidemount spares. I don't see those in the black and white photo.

    In 1956 my HS English teacher had one of these. He polished it with kerosene. Probably still has it out in Berne NY.

    Well it's probably not but it's fun to think it might be.
    Dad's car is probably long gone but who knows, that pic is nearly 75 years old so it could have been scrapped long ago or restored a couple times over.
    Maybe it was restored 45-50 years ago with side mounts added and now needs restoration again lol.
    Anyhow thanks for posting the pics,sure would be fun to own one.
