Hey, what did you guys use on the outside door window to keep rain water from running down inside your door? Thanks, Jon
I never use anything, just make sure there are drain holes in the bottom of the doors and let it run out .Don't put anything on the inside of the door that will soak up water!
Nothing on the outside, but there is an anti-rattler rubber molding that goes on the inside-fits under the garnish molding and up tight against the glass. http://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_m...e-1930-31-pickup-and-1928-31-tudor-sedan.html
Thanks 5 window! I ordered a set of those, but I didn't see anything for the outside. Just wondering if anyone has ever "Engineered" anything for the outside.
they make the "fuzzys" that are on the outside of 49-52 Chevy windows in straight pieces. It's not very thick, either.
Metro Rubber carry the fuzzy strips with and without a stainless trim that can be used. Used them on my 47 Chevy. Haven't gone this far on my A until I get glass fitted to determine how much room I have. Won't keep everything out but should work for the bigger snow flakes. Canuck
I bought something similar from Restoration Specialties, but with the glass in the car, there wasn't room to put it in. Also the isdie of my door wasn't flat enough so smoothly mount anything. There was to much are and too many little tabs and projections. Maybe I could have massaged it if I'd had the door apart but it didn't seem worth the effort
