This was my daily car during college, Army, & grad school: '65 to '71

with a 327 and T-10, it was just a reliable driver, even a few drag racing trophies.

Best driver, 61 olds f85. Mustang 2 front end, 400 hp sbc and a Muncie 4 speed. I drove that car 60 miles a day to and from work. Ran consistent 12.9s and looked good in all black.

I don't think I could answer that. They all had their own best parts (fastest, most dependable, coolest, best back seat for the drive-in, best sounding) Here are some in photos!

Missing a nice 55 Post Belair vette motor 4 speed sleeper that I never took a photo of and two Harley Sportsters 1959 and 1969 both restored by me and also have no photos. I bet you can guess what one had the best back seat! All most forgot I also had a 55 Chev Belair Hardtop with a 370 Pontiac motor and a 52 ford coupe with a Naihead And I just remembered had a 56 Chevy Convert. also.

Why, the first car I ever owned of course. An early 28 Ford Sport Coupe. Cut a lot of lawns and delivered a lot of papers to pay the $85.00 it cost me back in 84 when I bought it. It was my first love, and will always be the best in my eyes.

  10. Kinda tough but I've had my 64 Malibu since I was 15 and it's a great car. 283, 4 brl and of course a 4 speed. Lots of great memories and a fun car. Planning to make more with my newly inherited 57 belair hardtop. My wife absolutely loves that car so that's a Big plus.

Never thought of my cars as best or worst. But some were more memorable than others. In 1960 my 29rpu was flathead, Fenton heads, Harmon & Collins dual coil ignition,... By the time I sold it 28 years later it was 283, three 97s, Buick trans, Pontiac 4:10 rear, painted and upholstered. Lots of good memories. Started on the '37 as soon as the model-A sold. Been driving it for the las 24 years and now have 68k miles on it.

  12. I'm with you Marty. My '64 Falcon 289/4 speed with a bench seat was the best. Very similar with 15"x7" american five spokes with Good Year road race "test tires" shoehorned into the fenderwells. The bench seat may have been the best part. Sadly I let it go after I was drafted. My bad, came home and bought a VW to save on gas.
