Could not be any happier with how this has turned out. It will be a real shame to paint over that beautiful metal work.

The top turned out great, seeing how this sedan is going together, and then going home and seeing my sedan sitting outside is just sad. For now i will will have to keep up with this build and keep telling myself some day some day.
thanks for posting all the great detailed shots.

Just read the whole thread. Just to want add to the long list of guys that appreciate your skills and attention to detail. I really appreciated the time you took to post so many pictures and explain the how and why you did things the way you did. This is better than a book on chopping a 32 sedan and we got in for free on the HAMB!

OK ...so next time you do some of this metal finishing magic can you set up your camera to shoot some video's of you actually doing the work? I know it is a lot to ask but it sure would be informative and of interest to many people like me that marvel at the results of your work and aspire to be able to produce such beautiful metal work as you have been showing us. Again thanks for sharing and I hope you can find someone who is not intimidated by the work you have been showing us to fill your open positions for craftsmen.

Very kind words and thank you! Once i have some more help on the metal work side of things i will gladly set up a video shoot,it'll be fun!
I hope people aren't intimidated as for this trade you can never stop learning, especially from your mistakes.Im about 60% mastering metal work ,when i retire i hope to reach 85% in my self evaluation.
The good thing is everyone comes from different backgrounds and brings methods to the table that can educate me and build on that 60%.

Jon. I have a question. Do you do any gas welding on projects such as this, or strictly Mig and Tig ? I look at just the work you have shown here and I am just blown away(never mind the stuff on your website). As far as I'm concerned, the number of people capable of this kind of work are slim to none. You are an artist. And that is something that can not be learned. Your either born with it or not. Thanks !
