From FE forum. Great Ford racer from the 60's.

Yes, I saw him recently and he didn't look well. A real Ford guy.

 

Heard that too, a friend of his had a post on FB that said he'd been pretty sick for some time. R.I.P. Daddy Warbucks

 

My condolences to his family. A real pioneer in Super Stock, A/FX and Funny Car. And a great guy.

 

I met Phil at the York US30 show in York, Pa. several years ago. Real Southern Gentleman.

Rest in Peace Phil. I had the pleasure of seeing Phil Bonner at Dover dragstrip in 64/65 he had that Facon lifting all 4 wheels off the ground, it was quite a sight for this 13 yr old kid.
