Love it. I have a 409 6x2 manifold and was thinking of building a 409 for the 34. Where did you get you linkage? Any other tips?
Question - were 409 powered Chevies available Australia? I know GM cars were a lot different 'down under'.
themoose- you are right that they are never finished. I figure the only time they are finished is when you sell it or DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try Dicks Hotrod Parts for linkage,he has a good name here.If your using Holley 94's they have a group here with good info. I had an annoying oil leak, looking like rear main seal.Turned out to be,distributor bottoming out and not sealing tight on 6x2 manifold.Had to run engine at 2500 rpm for about 5 mins till it started weeping out and running down back of the block.Fixed with a thin spacer. Good luck with your build.
"Dubya31" that is a beautiful engine bay you have there, checked out your album and your tudor is cool as,well done.
Norman Beechey raced a 409 4 door here on our circuit racing back in the day,but i think it was a US import,so i don't think we had any?
