What do you SAFELY clean your white interior with? I hear Simple Green eats s***ches and other "wive's tales"
I have had problems with simple green turning the s***ches green on a white interior. I agree with Meguires thats what I use on my black and silver interior.
Have used Simple Green for many years for many purposes, including 2X yearly cleaning of my RPU's interior.....have no complaints on this product......can't comment on green residual on s***ching as my upholstery is back-s***ched with no seams showing......however, I do rinse SG cleaner very well before using a Meguiars leather conditioner......still looks & feels good, just like new, after 10 yrs of service representing 45,000 mi......
***uming it's vinyl, and NOT leather, I've had good luck with warm water, a soft wash cloth and a bar of Ivory soap. You can use a soft toothbrush to get down into some creases, or into the grain of the material.
Krud Kutter https://www.krudkutter.com/index.php?option=com_products&task=product&pid=1&Itemid=70 diluted enough to do the job (spot test) fiber towel, damp not dripping wet. Stay away from s***ches, wipe dry w/clean fiber towel immediately.
My car and both of my two Son's cars have a lot of white in the upholstery, and the only thing we have ever used is 303 Protectant on them. It has some cleaning properties and also keeps the vinyl really nice. Since our interiors are in open roadsters they tend to get dirty, wet, and hit by the sun, but the 303 keeps them looking like they are new, and they are all over 5 years old. Don
. The best cleaner for a white interior I have ever used is regular GOOP hand cleaner in the white tub. Make sure you get the regular stuff not the stuff with the grit in it. Take a blob of it and scrub it in the seats with your fingernails or a stuff brush. After, and here is the trick, scrub the goop off of the seat with a micro-fiber cloth. It gets the stuff out of the cracks and crevices of the upholstery. I have used this with great success on both leather and vinyl. The lanolin in the cleaner leaves the seats very soft. Another added benefit is that GOOP is really cheap when compared to the other specialty cleaners. Try it, you won't be disappointed. .
i use a product called Magic Spray. don't think you can find it in stores. a lady cruises by here every once in a while to sell it to me. works GREAT on white walls too!!!
I have had pretty good luck using a warm mixture of 20% DAWN liquid dish soap & 80% water with a fairly stiff brush. I wipe off with white paper towells and repeat as necessary until the towells come up white and show no dirt. Then when all is dry I go over with 303 Protecterant. I like the 303 product a lot.
