Has anyone installed a log style manifold on a 394, It seems we are going to need to cut the water cross over off the origional cast iron manifold and thread some 3/8 holes for studs to make this happen. Just wondering if anyone here has done this. Some pics would be nice too.

  2. I put one on a 371. Had to buy the water manifold extra. Possibly Honest Charlie or some place else. 1964 JB

I sure would like to know if anyone has used a cast iron crossover cut of an origional manifold. Seems like it would work.

It won't work, you will only have one bolt at each side to clamp the cross over.
You need to find an aftermarket crossover that will have two bolts per flange.
    Or make one.
I'll see if I can dig up a picture or two.
