Hot Rods '32 5 WINDOW INTERIORS

I'm still in the thinking mode about interior....car is all black...thinking either a bright red interior or a soft looking light tan with Briarwood dash and garnish moldings....let me see your interior pictures.........here's a picture of what I'm working with...

 

How bout this color Tanner, it was in the roadster ya followed out ta LARS

Nuttin wrong with black in black Tanner

 

Please, Please do not do bright red.
I cringe when I see otherwise nice cars with that horrible colored interior.
I could not even stand to ride in one I think.
My vote would be black or tan, maybe even a dark brown distressed leather would be nice.
As a side note, while I don't like the bright red I' OK with the dark burgundy or Ox blood.
The dark brown is more cl***y IMO.

Here's a tan interior in a black 36 5W I used to own. Tan always looks good with black.

 

Whats your favorite color? The black will go with anything, even a two or three tone interior.
As long as you avoid tweed it will look good.

 

I thought about doing the same color as my Model A Truck has...but do the dash and garnish molding in a Burled Briarwood..............

My running Buddy has burgandy in his......trying to seperate the cars looks as much as I can......I don't want people to think I copied his car.......If the paint wasn't so nice I'd paint it Red..but it's too far together now to turn around..........

 

My little brother's Model A coupe has the same black n' burgundy color combo as your buddy's '32. His was completed 25 years ago and is still as cl***ic as the day it was done. Can't argue with that.

 

Black or oxblood or black!

 

Done them with one black leather and one burgundy leather with black exteriors. Like them both. Also did a customer car with a black outside and red and black interior. All of these were traditional T&R.

 

I kinda gravitated towards the taupe ......even a 2 tone taupe . Maybe it's because I'm getting older , not sure . I just think it looks cl***y and doesn't clash with anything , pleasant to be in while you're driving around . A guy in my area has a 3-window , all black full fendered with just the right touch of chrome ....and a taupe leather interior . ......knocks me out whenever I see it .

I'll definately have some tuck and roll....I don't want all the molded and formed stuff......it's nice in pro touring type cars but to me a '32 needs traditional style interior.

 

Here are pictures of our black '32 5 window with a China Red vinyl interior which is what it had when we bought it. It was the style that we liked, we just didn't want red. We had it re-upholstered in Saddle leather. So, here are pictures of the same car in the 2 different colors.
