My wife and I have been wanting a 1937-48 Ford convertible for a while now, but most were way out of our price range. well about 2 weeks ago we stepped up and got this car. Its an older build, showing some age, but its a really solid and great driver. We found it in Kalamazoo MI, and drove it home with no issues. Its a really great driver, and we are so far really happy with it. even though is snowing now and it will be parked most of the winter. Its only got 1 repaint and its your basic build 350/350 stang II 10 bolt rear etc. It has a really clean interior, I did spend last weekend re-detailing the chassis as it has been driven many miles. We are so happy to finally have a convertible, now I have to wait 6 months to enjoys top down cruising in it!!! I normally build my own cars, but I'm in the middle of building a 48 Prefect Gasser with my 16 year old son, so we wanted a ready to go car, and this fit the bill.

Nice car. I built a 47 several years ago. Black, chopped mercedes cloth, red leather car. It went down the road like a new car.
Rear foot room is kinda tight even on a stocker, and I was surprised my Deuce roadster has more trunk space!

  10. Beautiful, man! One of my favorite body styles.

When I lived in Hill Valley, I bought one of these from a guy named Biff. I got a good deal on it 'cause it was filled with manure.

That is a nice convertible, I'd be happy with that in my garage if I could fit it in. Serioulsy I had the same dilemma and couldn't find a quality driver in the interim so I bit the bullet and bought a builder to get what I wanted.

That's a great looking convert! I am partial to them because we drive a 47. They make a very comfortable all weather street rod.

Love my 46 Convertible. They make a great highway cruiser with that big trunk you can bring the kitchen sink with you.

Great cars! I have owned 5 converts over the years and they are hard to beat for all-around cars. They go down the highway with ease and when nice you can go topless. Have fun.

I may be wrong, but that car looks just like one a buddy of mine was looking at over at the Nats in Louisville a couple years ago that was for sale. If that is the same car, the guy that owned it then was from Tn and told us it was originally built for George Poteet back a few years. It looked like a quality build and was still a really nice driver car. May not be the same one, but it looks like it as best that I remember. Looks like a car you will enjoy hitting the road with when the weather gets better. Enjoy! :)
