Customs lowered my 60 f100

    Hey yall I lowered my 60 f100 with 2 1/2" sids drop axle and reversed the eyes on the springs and removed two of leafs. Now my question to you guys is where do I get good shocks for the front and rear thanks

    Napa will have a reference book. Just need to measure your length and compensate for travel. I think I saw a diagram that helped figure it out. will post if I can find it.

    you can go on the monroe page and theres a link to alot of their offerings listed by mount type(s) and expanded/compressed measurements and travel rate. i spent about 3hrs with it the other day finding cross matches for jag clipped stuff....

    Did you drive it yet? How's it handle? I dropped mine 3 inches and am trying to work out some steering issues. It's all over. New linkage, tie rod drops and all.

    My pops did the 3" sids axle and tie rod drop and has 0 issue. Have you set the caster or toe at all on a rack?

    I think that the shocks that I bought are just too bouncy. I'll get the brand next time I am under her for one to avoid. They were listed as stock replacement. I think I need something stiffer.

    It was Monroe 5826

    Stay away and get the shocks CPP offers.
