I just signed onto the Ford Barn site and got a threat alert from my Microsoft security. Anybody else noticed a problem?

My AVG didn't pick up anything and it's very sensitive.

A few months ago, I was constantly getting a pop-up that looked like Microsoft, but it wasn't...just a software company trying to sell their services that somehow installed an icon on my desktop telling me I had security issues needing attention. When I checked our Mcafee software, it reported NO issues, everything up to date and protected. Can't remember how I finally got it off my computer..at least I think it's off...I haven't gotten any unusual pop-ups lately.

You definitely have a malware problem. Try using malware bytes - it is usually pretty good at getting rid of scamware. If that dont work, then you might have to have the PC serviced.

The free version will work fine.

    OK for me too.
Depending on your browser you can mouse the pointer over the suspect dialog box and see if you see a web address in the bottom left corner of your browser appear or some other smaller dialog box next to the one you just moused over.
