I showed the roadster there Saturday and was wondering if anyone got a pic of it leaving the fairgrounds in the twilight. Saw a ton of people lining the exit road taking pictures.... hopefully there were some HAMBers there.

THIS is the roadster that I referred to earlier. An absolutely stunning car! Made me make a left turn with my building plans. Mine will run a flatty though.

Question for Evel........why was the show gay?

Question for anybody else....Are those the spun aero wheel covers that Grimlock makes?

Too many Cameros. and it was really bright,,, and when the Band was doing
Bobby Browns "My Prorgitive" (SP?) I think thats when it became gay.

Good points all.... I went on Friday evening so I guess I avoided all that. Just kinda walked past the cars that didn't do it for me and enjoyed looking at the ones that I thought were right. Of course it didn't hurt to see the McGee roadster and the Calori coupe sitting just a few feet away from each other. Just wished they would have had the hood sides up on the McGee roadster so I could see those Federal Mogul heads:rolleyes:

I've been to the gun show there- it's MORE gay. I liked the hot rods, they were neato.

  9. Here you go, it was really a neat piece in person.

I did pretty much the same...I just picked out the few Amazing cars
out of the sea of Rich guy cars with the fancy displays..Beach scenes with sancastles ETC...

There was some really cool cars there..and the "Suade Palace" wasn't bad at all..

Thanks Mick, There was a mix up on the judging, and they lost my tally sheets. So I went and asked the head judge what was going on.

About 20 minutes later one of the judges walk up to me and told me I won first place in my class. The thing is they ran short on 1st place trophys, so they'll going to mail mine.

I was blown away. Here's a pic from the rear of the car. KK

Kongrats Keith on the big Win!!!!!!!

I wasn't surprised that you won, your car is Kick ass Kool & Full of Kustom Kleevage.

When I got home Friday night I had to check out the HAMB to see if you made it.
I was thrilled to see the pictures of the '54. I was concerned when I was reading
your post about the lost judging sheets. It is nice to see that some of your hard work
has been appreciated. I'll try to give you a call the end of the week.

    Kongrats again!!!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick
