Can you guys help me out with finding the proper stance on a 40 Willys? I'm looking for pictures of your lowered Willy's coupe. Also can I have your measurement from the ground to bottom of the front and rear bumpers if you have them? If not from the ground to the top of the front and rear wheel wells. Thanks!!!

For some reason I can't get the pictures to load. I will try tomrrow but I measure 11 11/4 to the bottom of the rear bumper and 9 3/4 to the front. I measure 28 1/4 to the rear wheel well and 24 1/4 to the front. Thanks

Got the new wheels and tires on and the stance looks good. Problem is I only have 2 1/2" clearance to the pan.

  8. Im thinking "new oil pan". Shorter and wider sump with new oil pump pickup sitting in a box with trap doors ala road racing style.

This is a friends with dropped spindles and no air in the bags, way too low. He will soon replace them with stock spindles. W\'sun 10.JPG 2005_0120streetrodnats110145.jpg

I have 2" drop spindles as well. Everyone has an opinion but to me the stance is damn near perfect. As you can see the engine sits pretty low. Thinking of redoing the motor and trans mount to raise the engine and increase the ground clearance.

I consider smart ass comments and general all-around wise-cracking to be more of a public service thing....;):D
