I'm running a Clifford intake on a 235 straight six with an edelbrock 1405 performer series carb. Anyone have any idea where I can get or how I can make linkage for this?

You're probably looking at fabbing up some custom linkage for this set-up, You might check with Lokar or Speedway for the parts you'll need.
I think the bigger problem will be trying to get that 600 cfm Edelbrock to play nice with a 235, which flows about 200 cfm at 3000 rpm. I would give Tom Langdon a shout, you can get his contact info from his website (langdonsstovebolt.com). He is a 6 cyl guru and sells all kinds of go-fast goodies for Chev and GMC 6's including carbs.
Hope you get it running soon.

    Uhh...

    What Waldo53 said.

Unless you are using a blow-through turbocharger, or supercharger, that's about 2x the carburetor you need.

Well, I hope it works out for you.
By the way, a .040 overbore (that is what you meant, right?) takes a 235 out to 240.3 ci.

The problem with to large carb is you lose intake charge velocity, but if that is what you got run it. Vacuum secondary helps a lot. I use a short morse cable out of an old trans shifter kit for my six cylinder powered car. Speedway has cheap cable style kits also.
