I bought a motor out of a 3/4 ton truck and did not get a flywheel, throw out bearing, clutch, or pressure plate. I have a '39 Ford ****** that I will be using. A friend of mine came across a load of flathead parts and has a throw out bearing model 10 c and another 11 cf. trying to get what I need. Question is what do I need?? One flywheel is a solid surface both front and back while the other is flat on one side but has a cutout on the other. The first flywheel, looks to be "lightened", that's the one I would use. I took 9lbs off of this one. IMG_0334.JPG

I'm putting this in a '33 Ford pickup. Wanting to get away from the 3/4 ton parts. Will I need a 10" or 11" clutch for my '39 transmission?

I agree with Marty as long as its true. Both should be measured for run out before You make a decision,
Ford gave a spec of .005" maximum run-out on thrm. As a side note, the max allowable runout for the RING GEAR was .010". The shop manual states that after checking the flywheel runout, if it exceeds .005" be sure to remove it and remount the flywheel by 180 degrees....and check run out again. If the measurement is still above .005" the manual says to remove the flywheel,[IMG]

If you have a good pressure plate and clutch disk. Be sure it matches the diameter of your flywheel and actually bolts on to the flywheel. A lot of different bolt patterns were used on flatheads
