Yes, I did do a search. I already have a 3/4" bore Wilwood clutch master cylinder. My game plan was to use a Novak slave cylinder kit, but my bellhousing is an older '55 Chevy type (P/N 3704922) which I don't want to cut up. So I'm after a 3/4" bore push type clutch slave with approximately a 1.4" stroke. Does anyone have a recommendation? I'd like something off the shelf in a parts house. The bellhousing has 2 mounting holes for a z-bar bracket, which I can use for a bracket to mount the clutch slave. I can make anything up that I need. The picture (stolen off the internets..) shows the 2 z-bar bracket holes. Thanks, Bob

Looks like it maybe 1 or 1 1/16http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/hydraulic-clutch-master-and-slave-size.660293/. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=402029 Pete
I'm into my '59 Ford pretty deeply. What are you working on? I'm now looking at GM Vette and Camaro cylinders. Just way too many on the Summit site to sift through and many have little for description.
I'm in the parts collecting/planning stage of my 49 chevy build. I am sorting out my clutch master/slave set up at the time. Trying to get the right pieces so it works as it was designed. If I remember correctly you chimed in on my build thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/road-to-redemption-49-chevy-coupe-build.942709/page-2 Are you trying to find a slave that will mount to the bell without any modification?
That one is in the running, I ran into it myself after I got home from work, thanks. I was hoping for a bit more travel though.
I like the way your car is going. I want a slave that is OTC so I can always get another one fast if I need it. I can make up anything to adapt it to the bellhousing. The core group that works on the car is made up of engineers, machinists and professional auto mechanics, so I'm covered.
Go to a NAPA store. look though there picture books of master & slave cylinders. Im sure you can order one that fits your needs. They are the best outlet for old stuff like that.
An easier route to go, although they can be tricky to find, would be to locate a bell housing, slave, rod and clutch fork from a 1960-62 V8 chevy truck, or a 1960-63 V6 GMC truck. Slave cylinders are readily available at any parts house in 7/8" and 1" bore. '80's GM 1 ton trucks also used a hydraulic setup. I believe the light duty pickups and camaros did too, but I don't have any experience in their adaptability. The truck stuff is as easy as 1-2-3.
I'm trying to use what I have, but will dive into my stack of steel bellhousings for another look. I could probably go as big as a 7/8" slave if I had to. I have a few Dorman 3/4" candidates from Summit that I like and can gamble trying one out since they're dirt cheap.
Have a look at a 87 to 90 chev C10 slave cylinder. It is 3/4 inch used on the 4.3 V6 but V8 is probably the same. It is mounted on the p***enger side of the bell housing and has a bleeder screw. I believe the later units do not have a bleed screw . Visit the Rock auto site and have a look
I think I saw one of those from Dorman. I did see a lot of other slaves that obviously mounted on the p***enger side too. Maybe the hose fitting and bleeder could be swapped. I would think that any slave could be bled at the master, since that is the highest point. I saw a few good foreign car possibilities, I figure at the worst I'd have to use an AN type adapter if the inlet is metric.
