yes & no. I am no computer expert but when I tried to load pic's some would load & on others I would get a message that the file load was too big for the server. but I have used the same camera with the same settings for all the pic's I have of it.
thanks for the compliments. I work at the Ford dealer, Atchley Ford in the picture. I worked there from 1973-79 then went to work at the 911 Emergency Center. Retired from 911 in 2004 & my old job was open so I came back. Mr Atchley bought it in 1975 from the Sample family. It was started in the 20's by W.C. Sample. Old Mr Sample knew Henry personally and used to tell us stories about the old days. The picture with the old Ford water tower is a former Ford plant in downtown Omaha that's been converted to apartments. Ford made cars there from about 1920 til 1932. The dealership I work at was originally located 2 blocks from the plant. They would walk over to the plant and pick up new cars & then drive them back to the dealership.
thanks everyone. 40 experts will notice the original "standard" right rear fender with no taillight. a taillight was crudely added on at a later date. fenders were very rough, my body man is a metal master. saved all 4 metal fenders. previous owner bought 4 new fiberglass fenders but had not installed them yet & included them in the sale. car is all steel except for running boards, but I found a good metal pair. need minor straightening and old covers scraped off & new covers. project for this summer.
had it at the body shop to fix a couple tweaks before upholstery next week. they put the w/shield divider post in upside down and said that was the only way he could get it to line up. didnt like it when I suggested maybe the w/shield in upside down then but they got it straightened out. power window regulator was up against the door skin. afraid it would dimple with vibration. so: TODAY'S DILEMMA; he needs space in his shop so do I drive it home today in a rainstorm, tomorrow with 1-2" of snow forecast, or make him wait til after xmas. so just got back home with it figuring I would hose it down quick & chamois. NOPE, body dust & road grime still on it. neighbor looked at me as if I was nuts washing my car outside in the rain at 41 degrees. OH, WELL
It's always something with these 40's mine just decided to crack the windshield the other day-has been sitting here on jackstands for a month. The divider can be fun. Many times (most times) the holes do not align with the screws and you have to drill thru the rubbers between the windshield--just did it-up about 1/4"-have had to do it many times before on 40's
