  2. A good price for one would be $500. But you can easily expect to pay $3000-$5000 for what you describe depending on body style and how rusty it is.

That's a hard one to answer. I am with rustynewyorker on what body style and overall condition and rust issues. A straight and solid 2dr coupe $8k convert $13k 4dr $4k. If it not in good overall condition or parts missing the price will drop fast. If you can find a good car to start spend the money as it will save you tons of money and time in the end. Also i personally will walk from anything needing major inner rocker work.

Forgot to mention ,it is a four door ,that's fine with me I think it is one car that still works as a custom ,so I guess $4k is about the going rate then

Could you be just a little more specific?

    Define; "needs everything".

I'd like to buy a vowel...

If you want a serious and accurate evaluation, post some pics and details.

Talk specifics. 'What's a bridge worth?', you might as well ask. Brooklyn Bridge or the one that runs over the Sipsy Creek in Mississippi? Old mercs are not all the same, even if they are more doors. Pictures if you please.

Yes pics would help. There's allot of good solid 4 doors still out there so find one and when you do jump on it anything less walk. I personally like a nicely done 4 door merc kustom just as much as a 2 door so get on it

  13. roddin-shack, That car looks to be missing rear quarter windows and a headliner. By the nose in the air stance it may not have a motor in it. It also looks to maybe have fresh paint. Am I correct and were you happy paying 20K ?
