Not generally done without fenders but I have seen a couple that worked..

There are 4 good reasons why you don't see many highboy 35 Ford coupes,,the just look better with 4 fenders. HRP

The fact is, it is rarely done. Historically speaking you could say it has never been common practice, therefore pictures will be equally uncommon.
