Does anyone know where this gold plated 1920 Pierce Arrow is currently located?

A former owner of the car told me that it might be in Las Vegas.

Here is an old display sign for the car and a scan of a black and white picture.

There was a feature on the car in Old Car Illustrated, Summer 1976 issue, Clark owned it at that time. Check with the Imperial Palace in Vegas, looks like a vehicle they'd have.

A friend of my family owns the sister car to that one; it has a staggered seating arrangement inside. Two years ago he told me the gold car is now on an island somewhere...Malta? I can't remember. The car is not in the IP collection.

Hi if you are still looking my father owned the car in the early nineties it was bought as part of a collection from a Museum that was closing, it was shipped to the UK with about 10 other cars, it was taken to the Island of Jersey, but he did not sell it there, he did sell it and I can ask of the details if he remembers

I photographed the car and the old guy who did the gold leafing, in a small town in Kansas, in the late '60s or early '70s. The car then went on display in a bank in Denver. Interesting reading what's happened to it since. My story was in the Topeka Capital-Journal.

Beautiful restoration of a very rare and a true
cl***ic make. I could be wrong on this (please
tell me I am!) but from the pic, the headlights
look like they've been converted to sealed
    beams! If so....UGH!....YUCH!...and
    WHY???? :(:(

imdb.com bio on Japanese actor Sessue Hayakawa says in his famous years 1910s and 20s) he owned a gold-plated Pierce Arrow. When he learned his contemporary actor Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle obtained an identical vehicle, Hayakawa gave his to "the Long Island Fire Department". No idea where. Perhaps this is the same vehicle. Over the years I've seen a bunch of very handsome Pierce-Arrows including fire trucks, but this is the sorriest looking Pierce Arrow I've ever seen. Probably it looks great from the front. Has it been cut down and altered (especially in the back) over the years? Ugh!
