Gene Winfield on History Channel

    Did anyone see Modern Marvels last night on History Channel?
    It was titled Custom cars.Started out good with Winfield Chopping the top on a 49 Merc.
    Kinda got squirrly from there.lot of other stuff we dont particulary care about.
    It didnt show Gene finish the Mercury,but it looked good.
    Good stuff from Pat Ganahl on the Hirohata merc.
    George Barris was also on there to tell how he invented the custom car.

    Fair watching, Beat watching Elephant's breed.
    Oh.. and Gene's hair is still better than Cole Foster's.

    Yep it was cool and the channel got changed as soon as those dumbass drifters came on.

    Gene Winfield? Did you see JimA??:D Two true icons!

    This may have aired before but I've never seen it. I was really impressed. It's the most accurate history of our hobby that I've ever seen. I may have to pony up the money for a tape of it. I only noticed 2 inacuracies which is very minor concidering the amount of information conveyed. I really liked it!!!
