Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle and the Chrome Czars are hosting part 4 of our winter tech series, Hot Rod 101. This installment is how to rebuild a front end. Class: Front End Rebuild Your hot rod or custom cannot truly perform well unless it also handles well. In this class, Bobby of Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle, will demonstrate how to safely disassemble and reassemble a front end on his chopped 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline. The class will contain information on both IFS (independent front suspension) and kingpin style front ends. Topics will include dissassembly, inspection, parts needed, assembly, adjustment, service and maintanence. Registration is now open. The last three classes of the "semester" are: February 12: Front End Rebuild, featuring Cyclebilly (I forget his HAMB name) March 14: The Black Art of Carburettors Revealed April 9: Hot Rod Upholstery, featuring Elizabeth, my girlfriend. http://chromeczars.com/hotrod101/index.php registration is limited to 20 people, so if you want to go, sign up soon.
