A buddy of mine asked me to list this head on here or ebay.
Can anybody tell me what engine this head fits, I was thinking Ford, but don't know for sure.
Also, what would be a fair market price.
Yeah I know, whatever anyone will pay, my buddy doesn't want to get rich off it **** doesn't want to wait forever to sell it for the high dollar. So what price would the buyer think "I got it for a good price" yet didn't feel like he stole it?
    Cheers,
    Stewart.

Looks like the 226/254 Ford. There were two versions of the engine, and I'm not sure if the heads interchange all the way from 1941-52.

No one has made them for years, so whatever the market will bear. I sold an Edmunds head for one of these engines last year for $900.00; however, it had no corrosion around the water ports.

When you come up with a price, I would be interested if it is not too crazy.

Made the deal with Limey Kid and the head is now mine. It is going to end up on a 254 cu in six in a '49 Ford Club Coupe.

The long distance transaction went off without a problem. It's nice to find that there are still honest people in the world. Thanks again Limey Kid.

Hey A Model, how's that Cyclone head working out? I'm about to build up a flathead 226 motor to go in my '50 F1 and starting to look around for a few perf. parts for it. In your looking around last year, did you run across any other aftermarket heads for the 226? Thanks.

The Cyclone is still on the shelf while I am building a 254 to go into a '49 Coupe. I have a Knudsen head on my avatar, '51 with a 226. The Knudsen did make a noted difference when I put it on the '51 about 10 years ago.
