Hi fellas. I could use a little help. Im looking for a good chrome shop. I live near albany in upstate ny and there isn't much here. The quote I got from sandys bumper mart is really high Im told by multiple people and they seemed reluctant to try and work with me. I have really nice cores in most cases and I'm not really sure I'm getting a competitive price, being the only game in town. I figure maybe you guys can recommend somebody of quality that I might be able to get a quote from and perhaps give them some work. Im not opposed to shipping necessarily but for obvious reasons id like to be close enough to drop everything off in person. I have a 61 cadillac coupe deville and I need everything done, except the front and rear bumpers, front door window frames, emblems, sill plates, mirrors, and hubcaps. I can provide pics of course. I'm realistic of the cost. I would expect quality work. Not looking for the quick and dirty job. Not in a hurry as the car is still quite dismantled at this point, but need to get the ball rolling. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
Paul's Chrome in PA. I've sent him stuff, he will give you a ballpark price over phone and an exact price when he see's it, send you pictures and price for each item. You decide what you want done. His work is show quality and if he say's 6 weeks you have it in 6 weeks. Pat
Good, fast and cheap cannot all be used in the same sentence when discussing chrome shops. If I have a part that I want to be perfect, Advanced Plating in Nashville TN has never let me down.

Nobody is looking to cheap out I assure you. That said, I know when the vibe isn't right and I feel I will be better off elsewhere. I simply do not know who I should seek out of my area. Thanks for the responses so far.
