Yep it from a late 50's to early 60's Mopar Poly engine.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/270-poly-valve-covers.769419/
More of a mid fiftys MoPar. 55-56 Plymouth or Dodge or Chrysler. Tell me the length and i will tell you if it's a Ply/Dodge or a Chrysler
RichFox, I have about 18 1/2" long not including the mounting flange. Anymore info would be great. Thanks for your time.
100% sure it is not Chrysler (1955-58 were 301 331 354 Spitfire), I have a few of those covers and they are visibly different. The length you measured appears to be Dodge poly, but I cannot confirm that. Dodge poly engines could be 241 259 270 315 325.
I have a Dodge 325 Poly in the shop.......but I'm not going there immediately....it's coooold here....and I'm a wuss when it comes to cold weather. Will measure it soon and report back. Ray
I see about 8 1/4 stud center to stud center. About 19 inches end to end. About 72 degrees here in sunny San Mateo.
Is that on a Dodge poly cover? The 19" includes the gasket flange? And don't rub it in about the temperature... Its 12degF here now....
