Just throwing this one out there. with plans of a dual exhaust for next season i want to hear some ideas from you hambers. i will be adding this to my '62 Chrysler Newport and would like to do something besides bellflowers which is on almost ever one of these cars on google and a change from lake pipes this cars a bit too new for that. of course i can always go the plan jane route and just have them come straight out the back possibly add flared exhaust tips. anyone know of any images that depict other ideas ? i was thinking of possibly routing them out through holes in the bumper or even in the rear wheel well behind the tire . i believe i even remember seeing a hole drilled in a rear quarter so the exhaust could dump out there. any feed back or images would help greatly thanks -AD

How would sneaker pipes with caps in the front wheelwells look? You could still run a full exhaust to the bumper.

Out the actual bumper? Kool man, real kool, especially on a somewhat 'elegant' car like a Newport 4dr.

in the small pic of your car looks like you have plenty of room inside rear wheelwell behind tire

Really liking the idea of sneaker pipes in the front wheel wells. Question is bolt on caps for a period look or maybe electric cut outs?

Maybe it's just me but I have never had any luck with electric cut outs . After a while they rattle and when they are open they sound like hell.

I just put a set of electric cutout on a buddy's 41 Chevy pick up, worked great for about 1 day now the right side will not close completely. He is calling the company tomorrow. Andy
